Set Design
January-March 2024
As part of my student teaching placement at the Harley School in Pittsford, NY, I became involved with a set design class in the middle school.
I helped students plan, assemble, and paint scenes & props for Spongebob the Musical Youth Edition.
Special Education Practicum
November 2023
Working with a self contained special education class of 7th graders, I developed a unique craft project for them. The students practiced fine motor skills and learned some fun facts about wild turkeys.
Zoological & Botanical Illustration
August-December 2023
As a Graduate Assistant, my responsibilities included individual conferencing and assisting in teaching this intense studio course at RIT. Students developed gestural drawing skills by practicing with taxidermy animals and studying wildlife artists.
Little Artists Make it Big
December 2023
I taught a lesson to a group of Pre-K students at Margaret's House Preschool on RIT Campus.
All of the students came to an RIT gallery to view their work displayed in large cases at the beginning of December for the annual "Little Artists Make it Big" art show.
